"I am delighted to lend my name to this appeal.  The new accommodation facility is important because the environment for people who are profoundly and severely deaf plays, as for any disability, a hugely formative and nurturing role.  Architecture can help care for people."

As a large school for deaf children, Mary Hare considers every new building with the needs of deaf children at the fore.  Residential accommodation is every bit as important as the teaching environment and we are currently in the process of upgrading and improving the residential areas of the School.
